We will depart from the city and head north to our nation’s capital, Rabat. Here we will have lunch and a tour of this fort city by a local guide. See the iconic 12-th century minaret Hassan Tower and the Andalusian gardens or the Chellah. Or, if you are travelling with children, you may prefer an afternoon spent at Tamara Zoo instead. In the evening, we’ll settle into a local hotel or riad for dinner and a good night’s rest.
Day 2: Rabat – Volubilis – Meknes
After breakfast, we depart to Volubilis – the Roman ruins, the Forum, and ancient capital of Morocco. Explore the ancient ruins and enjoy lunch in the nearby village. Continuing the the next imperial city on our list, we will enter Meknes through the monumental gate “Bab Mansour” before visiting Moulay Ismail Mausoleum. Dinner and accommodation at a local hotel.

Fez is also famous for its historical palaces, schools and ornate gates. After the tour, we’ll have dinner and sleep in a local riad.
Day 4: Fez – Chefchaouen
In the morning, depart Fez for Chefchaouen, the blue city of Morocco. Nestled into the mountains, this picturesque town’s azure streets offer incredible opportunities for photography. Explore the relaxed medina culture. We recommend trying the local specialty, which is goat cheese, with your lunch. Chefchaouen is also a wonderful place to find wool clothing and blankets. In the evening, dinner and accommodation in quaint riad.

In the evening, we will retire to a local hotel or riad for dinner and a good night’s sleep.
Day 6: Tangier – Merja Zerga – Casablanca
Depart Tangier after breakfast and head south along the Atlantic coast until we reach Merja Zerga. This beautiful lagoon and nature reserve is a birdwatcher’s paradise. Depending on the time of year, we may see flamingoes, a variety of ducks, owls, plovers and more. We can even hire a local fisherman to take you on a boat ride around the lagoon if you like. We’ll enjoy lunch at Moulay Bousselham, the nearby beach town, before continuing our journey farther south. Finally, we arrive in Casablanca in the afternoon and conclude our tour when we drop you off at the airport or another location of your choice in the city.
